Started as the Nursing Technical High School in 1956, Gyeongbuk College of Health, as a small but competitive specialized college with 392 new freshmen and 1,300 students based on the distinguishable educational know-how matching more than half a century, has become the leading regional private college fostering excellent human resources who will lead the future. Although current colleges are forming a trend of 『College equals to the industry』 by focusing only in increasing the capacity of freshmen through external extension of college rather than ensuring internal stability chasing the principle of market economy, we are aiming at the suggestion of a new directing point of college through specialized education with craftsmanship since 『College is an educational institute teaching and bringing up student as a decent human being』. Surpassing 60th anniversary, our college, as a 『Topmost college in the world』 structuring the cutting edge information infra and cultivating technical experts upon the needs of time with site-oriented practical education as well as contributing to the industrial development through a drastic investment and sincere education, will make efforts with members of Gyeongbuk College of Health to establish a 『Student-motivating-education-oriented college』 that is able to provide a refreshing jolt and make a deep impression on the student. Keeping the original resolution of 『Education』… I hope to get a steadfast support and interest in making a new history of 『Gyeongbuk College of Health』 with a modest mind remaining true to the principles to actualize small but profitable education.
